Love Irrigation Drainage Installation - What to Expect

Drainage Installation – What to Expect

The installation technicians will arrive on your site equipped with all the materials needed for the day. If the areas are soggy Love Irrigation will lay down large pieces of plywood to walk and move material on. The trenches will be hand dug or in some cases trenched and then widened to accommodate the pipe and materials. Love uses commercial grade filter cloth to line the trench; a sock cloth over the slotted corrugated pipe goes in next. The sock cloth corrugated pipe can connect to solid corrugated pipe once the wet area has been installed. Love can also connect downspouts from the home into a separate pipe if needed to divert water. All of this would have been discussed and included in the proposal. Once the entire drain pipe is installed pea size gravel is placed over the pipe. The filter cloth is now going to be pinned down to insure everything stays in place. The trench will be finished off with another layer of pea gravel. The area will be raked neatly, so to only leave a zipper effect that will disappear once the grass grows over it again. After the completion of the job the representative will again meet with you and go over the operation of your French drain.  Now relax, with the French drain installed your drainage solution is in place.

If you are looking for repairs to your sprinkler system, outdoor lighting, mosquito spray system or need a French drain, submit a service request and Love Irrigation will contact you shortly.
